Creating impactful experiences since 2010

Dayton, OH

Val Arias

I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago where weekends were spent playing or watching sports. At Purdue University, I studied sports video and communications which launched my career in college athletics in 2010 at the University of Dayton. Over five years, I gained hands-on experience in marketing, video board production, and digital content creation which built the foundation for my career in sports and live events.
From there, I joined Daktronics as a Control System Specialist supporting stadium video board technology and software. I later advanced into an Account Service Manager role where I spent seven years creating partnerships and strengthening relationships with professional sports teams and universities across the country.
Outside of my full-time career, I also found a passion for representing brands as a brand ambassador. I’ve represented companies ranging from food and beverage brands to Fortune 500 corporations at major sports events and festivals. This experience has allowed me to blend my people skills with my love for branding, events, and fan experiences.
I recently made the decision to leave my full-time role at Daktronics to follow my passions, explore new opportunities, and continue learning while connecting with new people.
My Story
I am currently looking for roles in account management, client relations, customer success, or partnership activation in the sports and entertainment industry.
